Not always does real winter visit our city, freezing and making every heart tremble. This year, Jolanta Šmidtienė created a true winter in Town Hall Square with the frost fir tree adorned with thousands of green lights. The frosts branches were made from food packaging film, which also reminded us of the prevailing ecological problem in the world. The entire Kaunas Old Town was also decorated with frost decorations, allowing people to experience the real cold. As in every year, visitors had the opportunity to enter the inside of the tree, but this year, the space was somewhat unusual – inside, one could hear the chirping of birds, which soothes the soul of everyone.
